Don Potter's Wide Interest Web Site
Mr. Potter has taken great care to assemble several links and resources on a variety of topics. He has scanned vintage books, provided pictures from his past and created a wonderful array of resources for teachers and students. I particularly like his phonics and reading resources found on the Education page. Mr. Potter also offers a variety of Christian resources on his site.
Eclectic Homeschool Online
EHO is a Christian online magazine for homeschoolers. The site offers extensive resources from articles to reviews and is updated regularly. The site does have Google and other advertisements but is very professional in appearance and content. Over 2200 reviews of homeschool resources are available to visitors. In addition to the many resources, the site offers a moderated discussion forum, games for kids and support and contact information for each state. If you are new to homeschooling and find EHO overwhelming, try EHO Lite, created to provide a comprehensive introduction to homeschooling.
eMINTS National Center
This website offers a variety of resources to enhance the performance of educators. Included among the resources are eThemes pages. These pages provide links to teaching resources from all over the web sorted by theme. The lesson links can also be sorted by grade level.
Entrusted To Us
This site offers support and information to Christian homeschoolers, particularly those using the "Moore Formula", a better late than never based philosophy. The site offers free unit studies created by homeschool moms, links to several other sites and a sample lesson plan for a Moore based homeschool. The site also offers software and book reviews.

This site offers several links to homeschooling resources, sorted by topic of interest. The site also offers e-books for sale.
Guest Hollow
Formerly Our Los Banos, this site offers links to many free printables and as a free literature-based American history curriculum. The site also provides a section with reviews of homeschooling materials and a collection of homeschooling articles.
Highland Heritage
This site was created by a homeschooling mom and features articles on ADHD, Notebooking, creating books, lapbooks and notebooks with children and creating Unit Studies. The site also offers free of charge over 800 forms for everything from planning to music as well several original school units on topics ranging from Ancient Egypt to Waters and Oceans. The site offers history unit studies covering Prehistory through the early church, complete with printable review tests. While the material on this site is still easily accessible, it appears to have been last updated in 2005.

Homefires
Homefires is the home of the “Clickschooling e-zine.” Register to receive the e-zine and find out about a new educational website each day Monday through Saturday. You can also search the Clickschooling archives to find lots of great educational websites. This site also hosts several Google and other advertisements.
Homeschool Buzz.com
Homeschool Buzz provides up to date information on various homeschool blog postings including At Home With the Kids’ blog. The latest news about homeschooling is also featured on the site. In addition the website offers reviews of several books including homeschooling reference titles, fiction and others. This website is supported by Google ads and vendor links.
Homeschool Curriculum for Life
This site hosted by a homeschool mom, support group leader and author offers lots of tips and articles for your homeschooling journey. She provides reviews of children’s living books and book lists, curriculum reviews, a review of the Charlotte Mason Home Education philosophy, a free e-zine, free chore charts and several other printables and lots of other goodies. This site does have a lot of Google ads mixed in; so do be careful where you click.
Homeschool Diner
The diner is designed to "provide a basic starting place for homeschool 'newbies', as well as a place for seasoned homeschool veterans to discover new resources." The site provides articles, links, conversation and more.
Homeschooling on a Shoestring
This site offers tips and ideas for educating your child while minimizing your costs. Available at the site is information on methods of homeschooling, resources for specific subject areas, discount information, a discussion forum and more. Note: The site does feature many advertisements scattered throughout and there is also a classified section for selling used books.
Homeschooling Series by Charlotte M. Mason
Both the original version and one written in modern English can be downloaded free from this website or a printed version may be purchased. In addition, summaries of the various Charlotte Mason writings are presented on the site.
Oklahoma Homeschool
This site includes lots of resources created by author Cindy Downes. Features include articles on getting started in homeschooling, homeschooling forms, tips on homeschooling through high school, free printable information booklets, free unit studies, product reviews and lots more. The information is not just limited to the state of Oklahoma, this site would be useful to anyone new to homeschooling or in need of new resources or information. The site also provides the opportunity to purchase some of Ms. Downes works as well as other items.

This Christian-based site is a wealth of resources to assist you in schooling your children for low or no cost. The author has spent a great deal of time collecting links and other resource information to assist you in creating a balanced curriculum for your child using copyright free materials.
Paula’s Archives
Paula is the creator of Vocabulary Vines and Science Roots and offers these books for sale on her site which also provides an extensive collection of “Must-see homeschool articles.” Paula has included links and sorted the articles by topic for your convenience. Subjects include curricula reviews, stages in homeschooling and non-homeschool topics.

Special Needs Homeschoolers

Surfing the Net With Kids
Many more links than I have, but some Google and pop-up ads too. Find resources sorted by subject matter, special resources for specific dates, activity pages and lots more. This is a good place to start if you need to do some basic research and find sites for a specific topic. The webmasters include reviews and pick their favorites.
Texas Education Agency
If your curious… The state of Texas is required to make available copies of the various assessment tests used by the state. Tests and answer keys for various grade levels are available at the Texas Education Agency’s website in PDF format.
